Aims/Beliefs

We are passionate about herbs and feel that they should be an integral part of our everyday lives and not just medicines. The smells, tastes, and visual aspects of herbs (and spices) are of tremendous therapeutic value and can enhance our overall health naturally.

We believe in a patient-centred experience, which means that your practitioner will not simply determine your treatment, but will actively encourage you to participate and help formulate a suitable therapeutic management plan. Our priority is to address patients' needs and to offer them a real alternative to continual visits to the GP for minor aliments and chronic conditions that can be treated successfully with herbs - ideal for those of us worried about the over-use of anti-biotics and other medications.

We aim to provide our patients with an optimum service at a fair price. Our policy is to acquire the best quality herbs available, including organic and ethically sourced plants. With the growing popularity of herbal medicine, some of our most valuable plants are becoming scarce. We therefore use herbs obtained from suppliers with the same concerns as us, limiting the use of endangered species, as there are plenty of suitable alternatives available.

Ultimately we would like to see herbal medicine integrated into the NHS along with other complementary therapies, giving patients the choice to use herbal medicine alongside their orthodox treatment.
